Compromised indoor air quality (IAQ) can have a negative impact to occupants and interior materials and surfaces of enclosed structures including homes and businesses, in addition to property values. Typical IAQ  problems can be caused by:

     
  • Indoor environment – inadequate ventilation, improper construction or location of air intake vents, elevated temperature and humidity, water intrusion, lack of maintenance on mechanical systems
  • Indoor air contaminants – chemicals, carbon dioxide build-up, dusts, molds or fungi, gases, vapors, odors
  • Infectious contaminants - Coronoviruses, SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19
